Minimum Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years’ experience or a Master’s degree and at least 1 year of experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisor, and technical staff.
  • Ability to understand, present and convey financial information to non-financial staff.
  • Ability to tactfully communicate with various levels of the organization to request or provide information. 
  • Proficiency using MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Access, Word, Outlook).
  • Advanced level experience using MS Excel.
  • Ability to handle the stress associated in meeting frequent, multiple and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to make presentations to groups.
  • Ability to obtain security clearances.
  • Due to federal contract regulations, US citizenship (no dual US citizenship) is required.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the global health field and/or PEPFAR.
  • Experience with a USG Agency.
  • Experience with USG Assistance Awards or Grants.
  • Experience with State Department/International Government Assistance Programs.
  • Familiarity with USG accounting systems.
  • Ability and adaptability to learn new systems.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau).
  • Experience with GFEBS, DAI and/or STARS FL.
  • Experience with the Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS).
  • Experience with DoD or State Department funding regulations and procedures.
  • Ideal candidates would possess 1-3 years of experience in accounting, government finance, DoD financial management and/or related consulting experience.
     


The anticipated pay range for this role is listed below. Our pay ranges represent national averages and may vary by location as a geographic differential may be applied to some locations within the United States.
