Minimum Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Certificate in instructional design, adult learning theory, organizational development or corporate education preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in an internal or external role that includes project management, training support, learning technology support, program coordination, and/or curriculum curation.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to execute and implement learning products, services, and solutions in a collaborative and cross-functional global environment, with an understanding of the user perspective
  • Experience supporting the implementation of learning and development solutions, with a mix of formal and informal elements aligned to the 70-20-10 model (e.g. experiential, social and connections, formal) for adult learners
  • Fundamental experience working with Learning Management Systems, eLearning development platforms, and other learning platforms and technologies
  • Experience working in a globally matrixed environment, with a track record of balancing global and geographic needs
  • Ability to work in and manage ambiguity, uncertainty, and volatility, including dealing with issues, problems, and events that do not always have a process, system, or solution in place
  • Ability to act and address any solutions that are not producing the desired impact
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and translate complex, strategic ideas or concepts in a business and user-friendly manner
  • Demonstrated capability in project management
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage changing priorities, handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and adapt to a changing business environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to function independently and as part of a team with a positive attitude, grit, resilience, strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
  • Outstanding customer service, high level of initiative, and problem-solving skills
  • Oral and written fluency in the English language, and additional languages a plus

 


Physical and mental demands of this role include those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, as outlined above.  Examples include:  remaining in a stationary position for long periods of time; operating a computer and other office machinery; thinking, learning, and concentrating effectively and frequently communicating with other people, both within RTI and outside of RTI; frequently moving about inside and travel between offices and laboratories; frequently conducting laboratory site inspections (if applicable), ability to handle the stress associated in meeting frequent, multiple and tight deadlines, ability to work in excess of 40 hours per week as workload and deadlines may require, consistent demonstration of mental stability and ability to have regular, reliable and predictable attendance.
