We are currently seeking a Marketing Specialist to support marketing activities that support our business strategy.  In this role you will report to the Director of Content and Digital Marketing to help with planning, executing, and managing brand assets, content, and digital activities throughout the lifecycle.  You will assist with marketing automation activities, including email marketing, contact behavior scores, email performance metrics, monitoring subscriber/contact opt-outs, and staying abreast of developments in data privacy issues, all while working in collaboration with the systems specialist.

We are a small marketing team that is building the foundational functions to support a start-up, commercial-facing business unit within RTI. You will play a key role in increase our marketing function growth. This is a new position with growth potential for the candidate who is a self-starter, possesses solid critical thinking skills, enjoys a mix of big picture and tactical duties, and wants to make an immediate impact for the short- and long-term success of RTI Health Advance.

 We need talent who can handle working in an ambiguous environment, keep track of details, can follow and establish priorities, and can juggle multiple, simultaneous projects. The ideal candidate will coordinate with external business partners, including an SEO agency, PR/media agency, and web agency as well as with internal departments including corporate communications and others as needed. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Monitor website form activity (contact forms, blog subscription forms). Use marketing automation to distribute emails promoting newly published blog articles to all blog subscribers.
  • Assist with establishing the RTI Health Advance Demandbase instance, and ongoing development.
  • Coordinate trade show and conference activities. Using internal resources and basic research, identify conferences beneficial for our thought leadership (speaking), brand sponsorships, and business development scouting opportunities. As needed, coordinate with business development team and event planners.
  • Execute the setup and implementation of 2x weekly blog articles in the website CMS (Drupal).
  • Assist with the quarterly editorial calendar by coordinating national health observances, timely policy issues, industry events/shows, and strategic campagn periods to ensure Health Advance proactively produces content and promotions timed to capture optimal impressions among target audiences.
  • Aggregate monthly marketing performance data from a variety of sources; organize and document key metrics to produce an insightful report with month-over-month and year-over-year data. As this process becomes more advanced (via introduction of Power BI, Tableau, etc.), coordinate and spot-check data to ensure accuracy in reporting.
  • Coordinate the development of sales enablement materials when needed.
  • Proactively coordinate acquisition of new images from the corporate communications team.
  • Serve as brand steward to uphold and evangelize the Health Advance brand standards manual, once complete.
  • Coordinate with administrative support staff to manage maintenance of staff biographies and photographs on the website.
  • Select and maintain Health Advance swag in conjunction with corporate communications contacts.

To be successful in this role, you will have solid analytical and problem-solving skills, be metric-driven, and demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of directly related experience
  • Demonstrated competency with web-based marketing communication tools and techniques
  • Superb attention to detail, aesthetic, and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Ability to work individually and in a team environment
  • Ability to operate independently with appropriate levels of supervision
  • The ability to work under tight deadlines and to prioritize/manage multiple tasks simultaneously

 

The anticipated pay range for this role is $65,000.00-$85,000.00. Our pay ranges represent national averages and may vary by location as a geographic differential may be applied to some locations within the United States.
