Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in international development, economics, social sciences or rural development or another relevant field is required;
  • At least 6 years of relevant monitoring, evaluation, learning and facilitation work experience with a research institution, donor, contractor or NGO;
  • Previous experience working with internationally-based research teams;
  • A strong understanding of USAID monitoring, evaluation and CLA regulations and approaches;
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and training and facilitation skills and the ability to work across teams and with associates and build capacity;
  • Experience designing and conducting virtual learning activities and facilitating communities of practice with diverse participants;
  • Experience in an agricultural research environment (especially fisheries and aquaculture) is a plus;
  • Excellent oral and written communication in English. Fluency in French or Spanish is a plus;
  • Experience with virtual facilitation tools (Zoom, Mural);
  • Familiarity or experience working in West Africa, East Africa, or Southeast Asia.
