Minimum Education/Qualifications:


  • Masters' degree in public health, social work, criminology, sociology, public administration, or a related field.
  • Willingness to take on project tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work successfully with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting frequent, multiple, tight, and competing deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite of applications (e.g., MS Word, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, etc.).
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require now, or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience working with community-based organizations focused on serving survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence, sexual assault, FGM/C, other vulnerable populations such as immigrants, homeless youth, or justice-involved individuals.
  • Understanding of the dynamics of trauma, victimization, and resilience.
  • Experience or expertise in any of the following topic areas: human trafficking, domestic violence, sexual assault, and/or FGM/C.
  • Ability to translate research findings and best practices to practitioners and lay audiences through engaging PowerPoints or other data visualizations.
  • Experience with qualitative data collection, coding, and analysis.
  • Experience applying adult learning theories and instructional design methods.
  • Experience in cross-cultural environments.
  • Sense of humor and cultural humility.
