Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in related field and 12 years of progressive experience in international development with a focus on anti-corruption, transparency and accountability and related governance programming.
  • Experience working on USAID programming required. Experience with other donors, including UKAID and the Millennium Challenge Corporation a plus.
  • Experience working on governance, and especially anti-corruption, transparency and accountability programming required, including in-country experience managing governance-related programming, with proven success delivering results.
  • Experience undertaking comprehensive anti-corruptions assessments at the country/institution and/or sector/sub-sector levels.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading winning proposal efforts in the governance sector, including proven proposal writing for USAID and other donors, and in-depth knowledge of business development best practices.
  • Experience providing project management and technical advisory services to project teams required. 
  • Strong relationship skills and ability to work effectively with local organizations, government counterparts, and other stakeholders.
  • Proven capability to establish and maintain a wide array of professional relationships and networks in the governance field, including with clients, key partners, and other industry actors.
  • Excellent analytical, oral, and written communications, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, entrepreneurial and management skills required.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines and to prioritize/manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and at all levels of the organization, including with managers, peers, and technical staff at both headquarters and international locations.
  • Fluency in English required: French or Spanish language skills preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US.
