Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, international relations, business, finance, or another related field is required and at least 5 years of related work experience; or Master’s degree in engineering, international relations, business, finance, or another related field is required and at least 3 years of related work experience.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the energy sector required. Demonstrated international experience in one or more of the following areas: utility turn-around, renewable energy, energy policy, climate change, energy efficiency, energy finance, etc.
  • Proven writing skills, such as technical proposals, academic or research assignments, or similar.
  • Experience with USAID-funded projects is preferred. Experience working with broader donor-funded projects is a plus.
  • Experience working as part of multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural teams in dispersed locations is a plus.
  • Knowledge in energy/power sector technologies and trends.
  • Must work effectively under deadlines, both independently and as a team member.
  • Must speak, read and write in English. Fluency in another language is a plus.

The anticipated pay range for this role is between $80,000 – 100,000
