Qualifications.  Qualified applicants should have the following:

  • Ph.D. degree in a relevant field with relevant work experience or a Master’s degree and five years of relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting economic analysis of transportation policy.
  • Demonstrated programming, data management, and analysis skills, including experience with R, Python, JAVA, SAS, Stata, GAMS, or similar quantitative research software.

Preferred Qualifications.

  • Demonstrated experience in policy analysis and applied economic modeling of the transportation sector.
  • Demonstrated experience with programing in R.
  • Interests in applied economic model development to evaluate transportation, energy and environmental policy.
  • Demonstrated experience in integrated assessment modelling, partial equilibrium modeling, computable general equilibrium and/or other relevant optimization modeling experience.

 

If selected to interview for the position, writing samples will be required, preferably with a focus related to one of the topic areas above.
