Minimum Qualifications:
 

  • PhD in psychology, social work, public health, or related field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant research experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge in any combination of the following: military sexual assault/harassment, sexual violence, substance use and sexual assault, intimate partner violence, or teen dating violence through coursework, manuscripts, or research
  • Strong research methodology and evaluation training and skills
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Experience leading or managing complex tasks
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated scientific stature in peer-review publications and presentations
  • Ability to meet frequent, multiple, and tight deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to travel within the United States
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.
     

Preferred Qualifications:
 

  • Experience working on DoD-funded research projects or projects involving military partners and target populations (service members and/or veterans and their families) is preferred.
