RTI's Employee Referral Program

RTI Employees can share jobs easily now by clicking on the job title and then clicking on the "Recommend This Job" option to then grab a referral link which can be emailed out to interested job seekers. Once you follow this step, as a part of the referral process, we ask that you visit the StaffNet referral policy page as seen in the instructions below to submit the needed information.

To assist in the recruitment of qualified staff, RTI provides a cash incentive to current eligible RTI employees who refer a qualified applicant for a posted position.

Eligibility requirements for RTI Staff (i.e., referrers):

  • The referring employee must be a current RTI employee.
  • The referring employee must complete and submit the employee portion of referral form before the referral will be considered for the position.
  • The applicant cannot be a former employee of RTI.
  • The applicant cannot currently be under contract to provide services for RTI in any capacity (e.g., through a temporary agency or as a consultant).
  • Recruiters and staff involved in the recruiting/selection process are not eligible.
  • All employees in Grade F and above are not eligible.


Requirements of Applicant

  • The applicant must complete an on-line application for a posted position on RTI’s Career Website.
  • The applicant must select the RTI employee that provided the referral.
  • The applicant must be hired and remain in the position for at least 90 days.


Referral Amounts

  • For applicants selected at Grades A through C, the referring employee will receive $ 2500*.
  • For applicants selected at Grades D through G, the referring employee will receive $ 2000*.
  • For applicants selected at Grades H through V, the referring employee will receive $ 1500*.

*Less taxes and applicable deductions.

The referral incentive will be paid in the pay period following 90 days of the referral’s continuous employment. The incentive will be paid from the new employee’s department budget. The referring RTI employee must be employed at the time of payment to receive the referral incentive.



Employee Referral Procedure

  • RTI provides a monetary referral incentive to any current RTI employee who meets the eligibility requirements and refers, at the beginning of the application process, a qualified applicant later selected for a posted position.
  • The referral must complete an on-line application for the posted position on RTI’s Career Website. The name of the RTI referring employee is a required field.
  • If an RTI employee is not named during the on-line application process, the RTI employee will not be eligible for an incentive.


RTI reserves the right to modify or terminate this policy at any time.
