Minimum Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree and 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Strong government partnering experience as well as experience with USAID, or other donor agency regulations highly preferred
  • Relevant experience and background of grants financial management is highly preferred;

Skills & Abilities

  • An understanding of and commitment to RTI’s mission and values;
  • Knowledge of USAID grants management policies and regulations a plus;
  • Ability to plan, develop, manage, and evaluate projects of the scope and complexity describe above is required;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and reporting;
  • Strong organizational, reporting and management skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team;
  • Strong verbal and written English & Khmer communication skills;
  • Strong presentation, facilitation and coordination skills;
  • Ability to build effective relationships with all clients, peers, and stakeholders;
  • Ability to work hands-on, independently, and within team;
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-oriented setting;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to coordinate activities with officials from host country government, US Government, NGO’s, and other agencies;
  • Willingness to travel to the field.

Physical/Mental Demands

  • Operating a computer and other office machinery;
  • Frequently communicating with external stakeholders;
  • Multiple and tight deadlines of reporting and schedule.
