Requirements:
 

Master’s degree and a minimum of 12 years of experience or a Bachelor’s Degree and 16 years of experience in international development, public policy, social policy research, or a related field.

                                   

Skills & Abilities:

 
  • At least 10 years working on large donor (or other) funded programs in a program management role. Experienced on DFAT-funded programs is highly desirable;

  • Proven ability to lead and mentor teams and work collaboratively with others;

  • Understanding of Indonesia’s research and higher education sector and of evidence to policy processes;

  • Experience conducting social research and understanding of research design and methodologies;

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and tailor information for different audiences;

  • Ability to communicate effectively, work collaboratively, and build relationships with a range of government and non-government stakeholders;

  • Flexibility, adaptability and a solution-oriented approach to resolving problems;

  • Ability to analyze and develop appropriate responses to complex situations;

  • Advanced English writing and editing skills;

  • Cross-cultural skills and an ability to communicate fluently in Indonesian and English.
