Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Psychology, Sociology or related area (May 2019 graduates will be considered)
  • Demonstrated interest/background in one or more of the following topical areas: mental health promotion, including in disadvantaged populations; school-based violence prevention; research on boys and men of color; research on trauma and exposure to violence; intervention development and implementation science; social and emotional learning; teen dating violence prevention
  • Demonstrated interest/background in one or more of the following technical areas: rigorous program evaluation, school-based implementation research; qualitative and formative research, data collection, qualitative and quantitative analysis, report writing, and training/program delivery
  • Training or experience in research methods
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and with teams, and to establish and maintain good working relationships with supervisors, coworkers, and clients
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require now, or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status
Preferred Qualifications:
  • GPA of 3.5 or higher, plus one year of relevant experience (could include internships or undergrad research assistantships)
