RTI is currently seeking a dynamic and driven Global Talent Acquisition Leader. Serving as the lead for talent acquisition and expanded responsibilities in talent management, this key role will provide leadership and oversight in talent acquisition, diversity and inclusion, recruitment operations and compliance, metrics and analytics, and related policies, practices, programs and systems. The Global Talent Acquisition Leader will partner with senior HR and business leaders to develop talent strategies and deliver efficient recruiting support, diversity of qualified talent, and a quality new hire experience. This role will provide best practices knowledge and implementation in talent management and acquisition in areas of innovative systems and practices, programs, and insight.  

Key responsibilities: 
  • Establish and deliver on strategic goals and priorities for Global Talent Acquisition and talent management in alignment with RTI strategic objectives. 
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key leaders and internal customers across the business as a trusted talent strategist and advisor.
  • Deliver talent acquisition excellence including the development and implementation of strategies to source recruit and select a diverse and highly qualified workforce domestically and international. 
  • Manage and support development, collaboration, and overall effectiveness of the RTI Talent Acquisition team.  
  • Ensure effective organization and management of RTI Talent Acquisition resources, budget and operations to achieve Institute and HR strategic objectives. 
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives ensuring the recruitment processes are efficient, compliant, and delivered in high service quality and experience.
  • Leads, coaches, and develops a geographically dispersed recruiting team that supports competitive practices and quality service delivery across diverse business units.  
  • Provide expertise and thought leadership in talent acquisition and program marketing and communications for RTI’s Diversity & Inclusion initiative.
  • Establishes and utilizes metrics and analytics in the management of Talent Acquisition effectiveness, insight and planning, reporting and information sharing.
  • Leads and champions the RTI Difference employee value proposition along with social media programming to significantly increase and enhance the Institute’s employment brand globally.
  • Drive and lead relationships with search firms and all recruitment service providers and operational vendors. 

Minimum Required Education and Experience
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent with a minimum of 15 years recruiting management and leadership experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7 years of international and government contracting recruiting experience with 7 years’ experience recruiting both executive level and scientific talent preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading diversity and inclusion preferred.
  • Demonstrated aptitude and experience using metrics, dashboard, and talent analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging social media and using various forms of talent acquisition technology to source, interview, and hire talent.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment branding strategies, workforce planning, strategic talent sourcing, and talent strategy planning.
  • Demonstrated success working in a matrix environment.

  • Expert working knowledge of ATS and other talent acquisition platforms, applications, and employment administration / HR systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of OFCCP and recruiting and employment compliance.  
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently.
  • Innovative and progressive orientation with high sense of urgency and follow through.
