• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or related engineering degree and a minimum of 10 years related project experience.
• Candidate must have prior experience with federal regulatory development projects.
• Extensive experience developing air emissions estimates using emission factors, test data, and continuous emissions monitor data. 
• Direct experience with the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program (40 CFR Part 98), National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (40 CFR Part 63), New Source Performance Standards (40 CFR Part 60), National Ambient Air Quality Standards (40 CFR Part 50), or mobile source regulations (40 CFR Parts 79, 80, 85 through 94).
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills – proficiency with Microsoft Word required.
• Demonstrated spreadsheet and database skills – proficiency with Microsoft Excel required; Access and other database skills preferred.
• Flexibility to work independently or collaboratively as part of a project team. 
• To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require now, or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) – Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards (OAQPS) or Office of Transportation and Air Quality (OTAQ).
• Experience with the Department of the Interior (DOI) – Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) 
• Direct experience with any of the following industries is preferred: forest products, pulp and paper, oil and gas, electric utility, and transportation.
