Minimum Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 16 years related experience; or master’s degree and 12 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have extensive experience overseeing a team of employees. 
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
  • ADP, Oracle HCM, Deltek Timekeeping experience strongly desired.
  • International payroll experience

Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent organization, motivation, leadership, management and interpersonal skills. 
  • Critical thinking, complex problem solving, judgment and decision-making ability.
  • Ability to prepare, analyze and interpret reports.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Must have a strong work ethic and be detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Must have strong proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office. 
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to work with sensitive or confidential information.
  • Ability to meet short deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently. 
  • Must be self-driven with the ability to identify, plan and prioritize business opportunities.
  • Proficient knowledge of payroll tax and labor laws, garnishment requirements, payroll recordkeeping and reporting regulations.
  • Understanding of HIPAA , FLSA and Payroll accounting rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of financial control requirements and SOX.
  • Understanding of Payroll and reporting systems, payroll benchmarking and industry best practices.
