  • Graduation from an accredited university with a Master’s Degree in Biostatistics and/or Epidemiology or related area, from an accredited college and/or university
  • Minimum of five years of experience in HIV/AIDS, TB, and/or other communicable disease research and/or program settings focused on analysis and use of routinely available data, preferably in a resource-limited setting
  • Demonstrated a minimum of three years’ experience in serving as a recognized and successful technical advisor and mentor for capacity building of human resources and training of staff members
  • Demonstrated a minimum of three years’ experience in developing, conducting and analyzing research and routine programmatic data
  • Demonstrated a minimum of three years’ experience to work independently as well as guide a technical team through complex statistical situations related to data, statistical analysis, survey methodology, advanced analyses and interpretation of results, protocols, manuscripts, study oversight, etc.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in statistical support, mentoring and capacity building to CDC/USG, Ministry of Health, and implementing partners in the application of statistical methods in the development and implementation of public health research, including the analysis, interpretation, and publication/dissemination of research data.
  • Minimum of three years of substantial knowledge of PEPFAR programs is desirable
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent time and project management skills
  • Level IV English proficiency required
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English (Speaking, Writing, and Reading) on a daily basis with various groups.
