  • Master’s degree and a minimum of 1 year of experience in HTA organizations, pharmaceutical industry, contract research, consulting to the pharmaceutical industry, or related area in Pharmaceutical Policy, Pharmacy Administration, Economics, Health Economics, Biostatistics, or a related field. 
  • Familiarity of HTA guidances such as NICE, SMC, G-BA (AMNOG), TLV, and HAS
  • Experience related to creating reimbursement submissions for pharmaceuticals and/or medical devices for multiple countries
  • Coursework or experience in conducting searches in electronic databases and knowledge of systematic review process
  • Experience/familiarity with primary data collection studies; analysis of health care claims, registries, or survey data from the outcomes perspective; cost-effectiveness and budget impact modeling using decision modeling approaches such a Markov and simulation; and cost-of-illness studies would be an advantage
  • Demonstrated skills for reading, writing, and synthesizing scientific research material including evaluation and summarizing of research findings, data extraction, and critical appraisal of the literature
    High level of attention to detail, organizational skills and accuracy; ability to multi-task and prioritize work and be flexible depending on client deadlines
  • Enthusiasm, commitment and ability, to produce consistently high-quality work within tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically MS Word and MS Excel
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)

Physical and mental demands of this role include those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, as outlined above.  Examples include:  remaining in a stationary position for long periods of time; operating a computer and other office machinery; thinking, learning, and concentrating effectively and frequently communicating with other people, both within RTI and outside of RTI; frequently moving about inside and travel between offices and laboratories; frequently conducting laboratory site inspections (if applicable), ability to handle the stress associated in meeting frequent, multiple and tight deadlines, ability to work in excess of 40 hours per week as workload and deadlines may require, consistent demonstration of mental stability and ability to have regular, reliable and predictable attendance.
